Q. Why do we have fundraising programs at Swift School?
A. Private support is essential. This funding provides financial stability and the resources necessary for an optimal educational environment. The Annual Fund is the yearly fundraising drive that supplements our operating budget. This funding allows for provision of resources for immediate needs and continued program improvements. Since tuition does not cover all expenses, the Annual Fund compensates for the difference between tuition revenue and the actual costs of educating students. Fundraising mitigates exorbitant tuition increases.
Q. Why is it necessary for 100% of parents, faculty, administration and trustees to participate in the Annual Fund?
A. Contributions to the Annual Fund are tangible demonstrations of the support the school enjoys from its community: parents, grandparents, faculty, administration, trustees, and alumni. Foundations and other private enterprises inquire first about the percentage of participation in the Annual Fund. One hundred percent participation indicates a commitment worth supporting with their gifts.
Q. How can I find out if my employer will match my donation?
A. Many companies offer a matching gift benefit that may actually double your gift to The Swift School. To find out more about the methods by which you can submit your matching gift request, contact your company’s human resources department. If you are using a matching gift form, please send it to Swift School, 300 Grimes Bridge Road, Roswell, GA 30075, Attn: Cindi Manley, Business Manager.
Q. May I donate stock?
