Passionate Teachers

splash_teachers

Swift School teachers are the key to student success. Swift School teachers have significant training and experience in teaching children with learning differences. Many of our teachers have advanced degrees. On staff, we have an Orton-Gillingham Fellow who provides ongoing training to our teachers to ensure we offer the best to our students.  Our Faculty Mentor works closely with our Orton-Gillingham Fellow and teachers to provide support to our faculty.  Continuing education and training for our teachers is a priority.

We strive to maintain approximately 6:1 student:teacher ratio in core subject areas.

Our teachers are passionate about teaching children with learning differences. We recognize that each child is unique, and our teaching approach, time frame, and expected outcomes reflect the student’s individuality. Because students have a variety of needs, our teachers and administrators often interact with external support professionals to ensure the best overall academic plan for each student.
